Description:
I’m Sugarz I am a sweet, high energy husky gal! My early months were far from fun, way too many hours in a kennel and not enough socialization. I am learning how to play nice with dogs my size as sometimes I get too rough when I’m excited. I just really want to play and don’t know how to contain all that excitement! I have not ever met a person I did not like. I think people are great, whether big, small, tall, short, young or old. I like them all . My almost most favorite thing is cuddling in bed with my foster mama or her teenage kids. The wubba toy~I really love that the best of all. I’m good with older kids, small children don’t seem to want me to jump on them, so my foster mom is working me meeting them politely. Small dogs, cats, and anything that runs fast, I thought was a game but my foster mom has told me that is not okay. Because I am young and learning, I should really be in a home with older children and dogs my own size. I would love a job to do ~ Skijoring? pulling a sled? Running marathons? You name it, if it has me moving I want to be part of it. I’m currently in obedience class and have learned to sit, lay down and we are working on stay and walking nicely on a leash. My foster mom says I’m picking up on this quickly as I am a very smart lady. I also would never ever go potty in the house! That business stays outside. I would really like to meet my forever family soon so I can frolic in the snow with them, could it be you? Please click on my “adopt me” button so we can meet up soon! Thank you Contact us to find out how easy it is to get involved in foster care.
When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care. Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS. We do not transport to potential adopters. How to learn more about a pet: Complete the application (click on the button above) to start our process for adopting or fostering a MARS Pet. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Post Adoption: Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. We highly recommend Pet Insurance. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance. Pet Breeds: The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility or Shelter partner. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess without knowing a pet’s full history.
