Meet Brady! Brady is a hardy little guy who doesn't seem to get cold too easily - he does have a coat and fleece boots for when it's extreme though. He recognizes his coat as something he wears for a walk and he gets so excited to put it on! This boy LOOOOOVES toys! He gathers them into piles in his favorite places. One day he gathered mostly green toys! He also will play by himself by letting a toy roll off his bed or the couch and then watching it roll away, then scampering after it! He is allowed free reign while we're at work as he is potty trained and isn't destructive. He will accept a kennel too, according to his dog sitter. He plays chase sometimes with his foster sister Izzie, but mostly he wants to be with his people. If there are other dogs in the house, he wants to be first in line and the only one getting pets. He would be fine with a brother or sister but it's not something he absolutely needs. He doesn't seem to have separation issues but he does tend to bark at noises outside so he might not be the best apartment or townhouse dog where walls are shared with neighbors. He knows to sit for his food and treats, likes belly rubs, and sitting on the back of the couch. He also enjoys burrowing under blankets! When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care. Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS.
