Kylie is a beautiful young red cropped and docked female purebred doberman pinscher. She weighs 55 lbs. and she's still growing.  Kylie just arrived at her foster home last night so we're still getting to know her.  What we do know is she loves everyone she meets.  She especially loves kids.  Whenever she sees one her tail starts wagging like crazy.  She rides wonderfully in the car.  She adjusts to new situations with ease and she's extremely well behaved.  She doesn't mind being groomed and sat nicely while I bathed her, cleaned her ears, and dremeled her nails.  She's young and full of energy so she didn't really want to sit still too long for pictures.  We'll try to get better pictures once she settles in a bit.

Kylie is nearly perfect with one catch - she doesn't seem to like other dogs.  For this reason I believe she would be happiest as an only dog.  I don't know how she is with cats but if I had to guess I would say probably not so good.  When I say nearly perfect, Kylie really is.  She's completely house trained and crate trained and she rarely barks.  She walks pretty good with a Gentle Leader considering the GL is new to her (she'll get better with practice).  She's very energetic outdoors and knows to tone it down indoors.  She's quiet and mellow, almost like she has an "on/off" switch for inside and outside.  What a smart girl!  Kylie would make an excellent watchdog as she seems to be on high alert outdoors, like she's taking everything in all at once.  She loves to run and play and she's extremely athletic.  A large fenced in yard would be ideal for Kylie.  She's had some training as well.  She knows how to sit, shake, lay down, and come when called.  I'm sure she knows even more.  We just haven't discovered it yet.
