Meet Dozer
*Housetrained *Good with kids *Good with dogs This handsome boy is one of the few dogs lucky enough to narrowly escape his death. He is coming from a facility so overcrowded that they have to euthanize at least 100 dogs. We can keep the memory of those poor lost dogs alive through giving Dozer a bright future with our rescue. He is a gorgeous dog with a winning personality. He is so sweet and has a sensitive soul. He loves to play with other dogs and get love from people. Dozer is very smart and learnd to use the dog door within hours. He also showed signs that he had been taught to use a bell on the door to signal needing to go out at some point in his life. He is great with our 3 and 12 year old kids. He is curious about our cat and chases when she runs but I haven't seen aggression towards her from him yet. I seems like standard dogs chase cat behavior that could be corrected most likely. Whoever ends up adding this boy to their family will be so lucky. When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care. Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS.
