Description:
This little cutie pie is PIPPEN. It is heartbreaking for Pippen's family to give him up- but he is from the south and the climate there is making him miserable with allergies. He is coming north to a cooler climate - which should allieviate his discomfort altogether! *Notes from his former, human Mom:* "Pippen is a FANTASTIC dog with an animated, upbeat personality. He is 3 years old and weighs 25 pounds. He's a beloved house pet who stays in the house except to potty. He's housebroken but will potty on the floor only if it's raining and you don't take him out with a leash and umbrella. Goofy dog doesn't want to poop in the rain. He gets along well with the other furry family members, although he likes to run the cats around the couch from time to time for the sheer sport of it (not to hurt them, just to play). He sleeps with me or with my son at night and is generally a good boy. He loves squeaky toys better than anything, especially squeaky plastic burgers or hot dogs. Pippen LOVES kids!! (provided they are well behaved and respectful of animals) His enthusiasm was tamed somewhat after having him neutered, although he's still a pretty active boy, especially if you bring out a leash. Gadzooks, does he ever know what to do with one of those!! He knows his name and responds when he's called. Okay, so he doesn't always COME when he's called, but he definitely knows who you're talking about. He's a great dog! " DOES PIPPEN SOUND LIKE A GREAT DOG, OR WHAT?? If you are the type who has no problem allowing your dog to sleep in bed with you - or turning on Animal Planet just to appease your dog, once in awhile... Pippen would love to come home with you! If you're interested in adopting Pippen. please fill out an application found on our main web page. Send it back to us and a volunteer will get back to you as soon as possible! Thanks! Pet Breeds: The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility or Shelter partner. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed.
