Hi Everyone !!!
 
My name is Oscar a.k.a (Pierce)...and yes my foster mom
always refers to me as Oscar Meyer the Weiner. Silly, but
I kinda like it....it makes me wiggle!
 
I came to Minnesota from Iowa.  Not a lot is known about my
past as I was an unclaimed stray rescued from Animal Control,
but let me tell you a few things about me now...
 
First of all the photos on line do me no justice.  My foster 
mom took me to the groomers where they made me look sooo
handsome!   I can hardly believe it myself!  Everytime I look 
in the mirror I just keep getting better lookin'.  
 
I am one of the most affectionate little guys in the world. I 
would say I weigh about seven lbs dripping wet...(quite the lap
dog....)

I love to play outside with my foster sister Winnie. We chase
toys, balls and each other all around our big fenced yard.  I 
get along with all the cats (or shall I say I just keep my distance
-one of the cats is bigger than me...thats scary....).

I have become rather spoiled.  They call me King Oscar at 
night. I get to sleep with my Foster Parents in bed and I sleep
up by the headboard on a pillow.  I love to kiss and cuddle 
before bed....and I sleep all night long.

I can sit and dance in circles for my favorite treats...(chicken
strips..yum yum).  If you want any more information on me 
just ask...I would love to meet you or have any questions you 
may have about me answered.
 
I am going to make a wonderful addition to the family that 
adopts me....don't wait too long to decide because I know I 
won't last !!!!!

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS. We do not transport to potential adopters.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Post Adoption: Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. We highly recommend Pet Insurance. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
