Description:

Tulip is a sweet, gentle-mannered, playful dog. She aims to please and listens well to try to understand new commands. She loves humans and dogs alike, and is a great companion. She quickly and bravely learned steps and loves to be on the same floor as others.

This little babe is adjusting to home life and enjoying all of the perks! She is so curious and observant with all of the new sounds! Tulip loves to run in the yard, cuddle on soft surfaces, and is quick to come down from counter surfing when you say “off” (a new command we are still perfecting, but very responsive). She has silly puppy energy and likes to stay busy, sometimes falling over her own feet. Tulip loves to be spoiled with toys (does not rip up) and a bone on occasion. Very food motivated and will be easy to continue to train with commands for an active couple or family!

She is nearly accident free and is crate trained for overnights. She’s even calm and a trooper during bath time! On top of great behavior, she is absolutely gorgeous; brindle markings with white highlights (low shed) and one hazel eye & one “party eye” (half hazel, half ice blue)! She is so lovable and will be a delight in her new family home.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS. We do not transport to potential adopters.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Post Adoption: Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. We highly recommend Pet Insurance. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
