Bruce is an extremely gentle boy who is lovable, great with other dogs and cats and is potty-trained while on a schedule and crate trained. Bruce and his mother were surrendered by their owner and are now looking for a new home. 

Bruce is a complete lover! He loves to be held and will flop on his back for a tummy rub. He will give you a smile and try to receive attention by placing his head into your hand or nudging you with his body. He is excellent with all other animals and does not show jealousy of any kind towards people or animals.

Bruce is a little timid on stairs and around the door to go outside or come back inside, but manages them just fine with encouragement that he is doing a great job. Bruce has bonded with his foster father and misses him when he is not home, but also loves his foster mother. He is happy with any people, but seems to appreciate daddy a little more!

Bruce is crate trained during the day, but that is not really needed as he is so good and content alone. Bruce will sleep in the bedroom with you while in a crate with no problems, but would prefer to sleep up on the bed with you! He does not wake you during the night. He is also great riding in a car and will snuggle down and is no problem.

Bruce loves to go outside for potty-breaks and will get silly and jump around. He would prefer to stay out longer, but his paws do get cold and he needs to come in. Bruce does bark when he is excited and when his foster parents come home. Otherwise, he is perfectly content sitting by you and snuggling in your lap. He also likes to sit by your feet if you are busy with something other than him.
